What is your shipping policy?

AutoShack offers free shipping to most locations in Canada for orders over $50. For customers living in rural or remote areas, where delivery costs are higher, a nominal shipping fee will apply. This fee will be calculated and displayed at checkout, giving you the option to review the cost before completing your order.

Express Shipping: We offer 2-day express shipping to most locations in Canada for an additional charge. The express shipping fee will be displayed during checkout, allowing you to decide whether to upgrade your shipping option.

Where are the parts shipped from?

All customer orders in Canada are packed and shipped from our fulfillment center located in Ottawa, Ontario. This allows for efficient processing and delivery across most Canadian provinces.

What are my shipping options?

In Canada, AutoShack’s automated system assigns the appropriate carrier based on your location. We use the following carriers for standard shipping:

  • Canada Post

  • UPS

  • GLS

For express shipping, all orders are shipped with UPS only. The shipping options and estimated delivery times will be provided during checkout, so you can choose the best option for your order.

Can I ship to a P.O. Box?

Yes, 80% of our product catalog can be shipped to a P.O. Box in Canada. Some larger items are ineligible for P.O. Box delivery due to size restrictions. When placing your order, our system will inform you if any items in your cart must be delivered to a physical address instead.

For P.O. Box deliveries in Canada, Canada Post is the only available carrier. Please note that shipments to P.O. Boxes are not eligible for express shipping.

What can I expect for delivery times?

Delivery times in Canada vary by region, typically ranging from 2-10 business days:

  • Ontario and Quebec: 2-4 business days, with some locations receiving deliveries in as little as 2 days.

  • Major Canadian Metro Areas: 2-4 business days.

  • Western Canada (e.g., Vancouver, Victoria): 3-6 business days.

  • Rural or remote areas (e.g., Chilliwack, BC): up to 8-10 business days, though this is less common.

Shipping times are fastest within Ontario and Quebec, where our fulfillment center is located. Please be aware that all shipping carriers reserve the right to extend delivery times by up to 24 hours for residential deliveries, which is beyond our control.

My Part Arrived Damaged; What Do I Do?

If you receive a damaged product, please notify our customer support team within 7 days of delivery. We require photos of the damage in order to process your claim.

Steps to follow:

  • Log into your account, locate your order, and submit a claim for the damaged product.

  • Attach clear photos of the damage when submitting your claim. These photos are essential for AutoShack to work with the shipping carrier and approve a replacement.

  • Our Customer Service Team aims to resolve all claims within

    24 hours

    once we have all necessary documentation.

My Package Arrived But Parts Are Missing

If you believe parts are missing from your order, here’s what to do:

AutoShack ships products individually in multiple parcels to ensure safe delivery due to the weight of many of our items. While we send your complete order on the same day, it’s possible for carriers to deliver your packages at different times.

  • Check your shipping confirmation email for additional tracking numbers to see if more parcels are en route.

  • If you still believe parts are missing, log into your account and open a ticket with our support team. We aim to resolve all issues within 24 hours.

  • If you need any help, feel free to contact our customer service team by phone, text, or live chat.

Is There a Cost to Return an Item & What is the Return Shipping Cost?

Items purchased through AutoShack can be returned for a refund within 45 days from the shipping date, provided they have not been installed, altered, or damaged and are in resalable condition.

Return Shipping Costs:

  • If the return is due to customer error, such as ordering the wrong item or not reviewing the fitment chart,

    the customer is responsible for the return shipping costs

  • You have two options for returning items:

    1. AutoShack Return Label: Request a shipping label from AutoShack, and the cost of the label will be deducted from your refund.

    2. Provide Your Own Shipping: You can arrange your own return shipping by purchasing a label from the carrier of your choice.

Please note that shipping costs from the original order are non-refundable, and AutoShack will only cover the return shipping cost if we made an error. AutoShack may provide a prepaid return label at our discretion, but we do not refund labels purchased by customers independently.

Does Someone Need to Sign for the Shipment?

No, our shipments do not require a signature for delivery. When purchasing through AutoShack, you authorize the shipping carrier to leave the package at your residence (e.g., front door, porch, gate) or another secure location.

If you would like specific delivery instructions, please contact the carrier directly once your order has been dispatched to ensure your preferences are followed.

I’ve Ordered My Items But They Have Not Arrived

If your order hasn’t arrived, here’s what to do:

AutoShack ships orders in multiple parcels, so please check the tracking numbers included in your shipping confirmation to verify the delivery status. If a package is still listed as "not delivered" after several days, contact our customer support team for help.

Please be aware that AutoShack is not responsible for lost or stolen packages after the carrier marks them as delivered. Many carriers provide photo proof of delivery. Unfortunately, package theft can occur, and once delivery is confirmed, the carrier’s responsibility ends. AutoShack can assist by confirming the delivery with the carrier and providing proof if necessary.

How Do I Track My Order?

Once your order ships, you’ll receive a shipping confirmation email with a tracking number. Use the tracking number in the email to monitor your shipment.

If you can’t locate your shipping confirmation:

  • Check your spam or junk folder in case the email was filtered there.

  • Please note that most orders are shipped within 1 business day, so if it’s been less than a day, the shipping confirmation may not have been sent yet.

If more than 1 business day has passed and you haven’t received your shipping confirmation, contact our customer service team using the email address you placed the order with. Our customer service team is available via phone, text, or live chat to assist you.

What Happens If I Am Not Home When My Package Arrives?

For most deliveries from AutoShack, a signature is not required, so 90% of the time, the package will be left at your front door or in another safe area. However, the decision to leave the package is ultimately up to the delivery driver.

If the driver decides not to leave the package, they will leave a "Door Tag" with instructions on where to pick up your order. This could be at your local post office, UPS store, or another nearby carrier location. The door tag will include all the details you need to retrieve your package.

Express Shipping on Limited Lifetime Warranty Items

Warranty replacement items are sent with standard shipping, free of charge. If you prefer to have your warranty replacement shipped via express shipping, you may do so for an additional cost.

The express shipping fee will be calculated and provided during the warranty process, giving you the option to upgrade your shipping if desired.
